Ceremony

Sophisticated and stunning, the Music Center is where the most magical and chic events of Los Angeles unfold. Join the likes of the Joffrey Ballet and the Los Angeles Opera as part of this cultural extravaganza, and exchange your vows in one of the Music Center’s scintillating locales.

The Center’s three splendid theatres, the Mark Taper Forum, the Ahmanson, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, share a sprawling plaza that rises above street level like an urban plateau. Enhanced with theatrical lighting, specialty decor and personal touches that only Patina Catering can deliver, sunset and nighttime wedding ceremonies take on an aura of enchantment.

Indoors, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, including the tiered Grand Hall and its view of the Plaza, offers impressive architecture along with a grand twin staircase for a dramatic entrance. The Fifth Floor’s grand ballroom is also a perfect space for a ceremony with its subtle, warm tones, custom furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows offering unparalleled views of the city and the San Gabriel Mountains.

The possibilities are endless at the Music Center. From lavish wedding receptions to elegant rehearsal dinners or impressive engagement dinner, we offer a wide variety of spaces to accommodate receptions and peripheral wedding events.

Music Center Grand Hall

Bavarian crystal chandeliers, columns of gold Byzantine-style tiles and a grand, mirrored stairway make the Grand Hall an opulent setting for a ceremony and reception.

Founders Room

Warm and intimate, yet with a capacity for large receptions or dinners, the Founders Room features 30-ft ceilings, a world-class art collection, classic chandeliers, rich tones, club-style seating and a large marble bar.
